Hello World!

Okay okay… you did see I already called myself a nerd, right? How could I help passing up on such a wonderful opportunity to use ‘Hello World’??

For many years travel has easily been one of my top 5 priorities. Spending every hour of PTO as far away from home as possible, countless hours searching flights and hotels, and looking up every interesting and remote corner of the world to someday visit.

Through all these years of travelling I’ve gotten one question more than any other “How do you travel so much?”. There is no single, simple answer to this. A culmination of experience, passion, and a bit of luck fuel my ability to be on the go all the time. But, after being asked so many times how to do it, I started paying a bit more attention to what I was doing. I started making a list of the information, tips, and ideas I had to make a great adventure. It turns out I have a lot of information to share!

I’m sure everyone feels how hard it has been through 2020 being stuck stateside, and for the most part stuck at home. Being ‘grounded’ for a whole year has been a real struggle for me. As we crossed the threshold into 2021 I needed a way to reinvigorate my love for travel that didn’t include trying to plan a trip. I realized now is the perfect time to start sharing the information I have been compiling in my head for a few years, and a great time to reminisce on all the amazing memories I have of travelling the world.
